Hello, Bonjour! I'm Rebecca, the owner and designer behind Purple Panda Planner. I live on an acreage north west of Edmonton, AB with my husband of 8 years, our two cats, and we also have some chickens. I used to actually really dislike planners and always just used a big wall calendar because I needed that visual always in my face. Then I started just using a lined notebook to write down my day.
My step mom starting bullet journaling, which got me curious. Bullet Journaling was like my daily notebook page, but with more fun (stickers!) and structure. I started with my first dot grid journal in January of 2019, and have been hooked ever since! I was always an avid scrap booker and paper crafter, and now most of my creative energy goes into my planning.
It has become a great creative outlet, and helped me manage my time better. And once I found out people were creating and selling stickers on etsy, I thought to myself...Hey I have a printer and a silhouette machine, I could do that! And here we are 2 years later :)
TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOUR SHOP! WHAT KIND OF STUFF DO YOU SELL? DO YOU HAVE A PARTICULAR STYLE?
My very first stickers were all my hand drawn panda character doing various things, drawn on paper and then scanned onto my computer and edited. Now I hand draw everything digitally which definitely speeds up the process. Besides my pandas, I have scripts (including customs), various functional stickers, and photo kits. I've also dabbled in a bit of everything planner related with, sticker storage (albums and my own handmade reusable books), beaded bookmarks, planner clips, adhesive pockets, vinyl, washi tape, pen clips and planner bands.
WHAT IS YOUR ALL-TIME BEST SELLER?
By far my Bullet Journal Date strips! There is 4 versions, all sized to perfectly fit the 5mm dot grid in most journals. Available in both horizontal and vertical, with numbered dates and days of the week.
WHAT IS YOUR ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE ITEM IN YOUR SHOP?
That's a tough choice, my pandas are definitely my favourite, and I have a big sampler of all of my pandas from before Dec 2020 .
One of my most used sticker sheets is my laundry check boxes; I've gone through many sheets of these!
WHAT CAN WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING FROM YOU DURING THE MADE IN CANADA COLLAB?
I just started learning French at the start of June, and have added a few autocollants francais, and hope to add some more. I always try to add a few more photo kits for the sale as they are always a great seller during the sales. I also want to go back to working on some planner bands with attached pen pockets, and some more beaded bookmarks.

In case you couldn't guess, purple and pandas are two of my favourite things, hence my shop name, plus I love a good alliteration! So I'm also planning on adding more purple and pandas to the shop.
