Meet The Spring 2021 Shop | Ariebea

TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF! WHERE ARE YOU FROM? WHEN DID YOU START? WHAT FIRST GOT YOU INTO SELLING PLANNER SUPPLIES?

Hey everyone! My name is Ariel and I am the owner of Ariebea, residing in the Greater Toronto Area. I have been an avid planner my entire life but, I first got into decorative planning after seeing how much more fun it could be with stickers. I studied design and Architecture in school which fueled this adventure but my sticker obsession led me to open my shop in 2017. One of my biggest dreams was to open own stationery shop full of things that I’ve designed like stickers, notebooks, notepads, pens and more! I guess I am already halfway there but I still have a lot more I want to achieve!

TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOUR SHOP! WHAT KIND OF STUFF DO YOU SELL? DO YOU HAVE A PARTICULAR STYLE?

Everything in my shop is designed and drawn with love and care by me. Ariebea specializes in hand drawn functional stickers and doodles. I would describe my style as cute, functional, chic and sweet stickers. My stickers can be added to any spread, on their own or even with kits! I also sell sticker diecuts and vinyls of my most popular designs.

WHAT IS YOUR ALL-TIME BEST SELLER?

My best selling designs are Hobonichi functional stickers and kits but I wanted to highlight another best seller from my shop, my inspirational rainbow quote stickers. I’ve gotten a lot of interest in these since I launched them and I plan on doing more designs for the different seasons. A little inspirational, uplifting or quirky quote in my weekly or monthly pages can spread a smile across my face no matter how my plans are going. I hope my stickers can bring small joys to my customers and friends who use them.

WHAT IS YOUR ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE ITEM IN YOUR SHOP?

I have so many stickers in my shop and since I designed all of them, it is hard for me to choose just one. In my own planners I love using the Dreamy boxes available in 8 different colour ways. They are cute, functional and help me organize my day into manageable chunks. They are designed to fit in any planner from rings to bound planners. I love my doodle stickers and use them in all of my spreads. Laptop and working stickers are the ones I personally use the most of but I can never stay away from a cute cat or bear sticker! I am also currently loving my sticker books and albums because they keep my sticker stash organized and ready to go when I need them the most.

WHAT CAN WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING FROM YOU DURING THE MADE IN CANADA COLLAB?

I am excited to release a new functional line with hand drawn doodles. My mini transparent functional dots are always well received in all 8 colour palettes available but some seasonal ones will be released for the sale as well as more functional doodles.
I will have limited quantities of sticker albums, sticker books, vinyls, sticker diecuts and journaling cards too! There is a little bit for everyone and more to come in the next few months. Keep an eye out for my shop during future promotions!

IF THERE'S ANYTHING ELSE YOU'D LIKE TO LET US KNOW, USE THIS SPACE!

I get a few questions every now and again on how I pronounce my shop name and the story behind it because it’s very unique. ARIE (air-ree) is a nickname originated from my name, Ariel. I’m named after the Little Mermaid so this part is pretty easy to remember. BEA (bae-ah) is my mothers nickname. I often share my stickers and washi with her so she can put them in her own planner. She also helps me with inventory when I am busy.

If you want to find more about me and how I plan I also have a YouTube channel where I share my planner setups, flips, vlogs and plan with me’s! I also share tips and tricks and it is pretty fun so I suggest you subscribe so you don’t miss anything! I also have a FB Page, and Instagram for more planner love, details on sales and upcoming projects! Thanks for taking the time to read and getting to know me better. Stay safe and happy planning!
