As we begin a new chapter in Canada with our case counts decreasing and vaccines rolling out, a second wave of Covid-19 has taken over India in a devastating way. The country is experiencing hundreds of thousands of new cases per day, reaching nearly 400,000 new cases yesterday alone.
We will be raising money for the Canadian Red Cross' India COVID-19 Response Appeal. They are partnering with the Indian Red Cross so we can be sure our donations go directly to the cause.
